The R&D Simulator is a compact laboratory unit that can be easily installed in your Quality department. It is capable of simulating exactly, on a laboratory scale, sterilization processes that can take place in retorts, crateless retorts, horizontal rotary cooker-coolers, and hydrostatic continuous sterilizers.

It can be used to determine optional process parameters from a sterilizing point of view, as well as issues like product quality, over-pressure requirements during sterilization and cooling, yields, heat transfer characteristics, etc.

The simulator can be supplied with different carriers that are adapted to the kind of process (rotary, rocking, still,) and the types of containers from Metal, Plastic or Glass.
